What is Actors On Demand?
Actors On Demand is a new and innovative video podcast that showcases actors like never before. For actors, they can now not only be seen but heard which gives a true sense of their on camera presence. For casting directors and filmmakers, Actors on Demand allows them to quickly find and book the best in local talent at their next audition, saving time and money. You can watch it online or take it with you on your ipod or laptop.

How does the process work?
On the day of the filming session you will arrive and be given forms to fill out. If there is a line, we will go on a first come, first serve basis. Once inside we will check the paper work to make sure it is all in order and the payment must be made. Directly following we will film your segment and this will conclude the casting process. We will email you when the video podcast is complete and when it will be up on the site.

What happens during the filming session?
Actors are given a five minute window to shoot their segment. This time is for filming and making sure all paper work is correct. No more than three different takes will be shot and the actor picks which one is best.

How should I dress and look?
Actors are asked to dress appropriately for the roles they would like to be cast in or dress in attire that represents who they are. No clothing with large logos.

Can I pick a scene to do?
Yes, an actor can pick a scene or monologue as long as it is within their 1 minute segment. There should be NO profanity or adult content and actors are still required to state their name and contact info.

How often does an Actors On Demand video podcast come out?
Currently we plan to offer our video podcast 5 times a week, monday through friday. This will begin shortly after our first filming session.

How long does it take for the video podcast to come out after a casting call?
The Actors On Demand video podcast will come out between one to three weeks from the filming session. Because of the expected large attendance for our first filming session, video podcasts segments for those actors filmed during that first session, will come out between 2 to 8 weeks depending on its placement. We will contact you by email when the video is complete, along with its release date.

How do you choose where my segment is placed in the video podcast?
It’s up to the discretion of Actors On Demand to place actors in order on the video podcast.

Does it matter if I am a Union or Non Union actor?
No. Union or non-union actors are both welcome, but it is best to state if you are union or non-union in your video segment.

How will talent agencies, casting directors or filmmakers find out about my video podcast?
Actors On Demand has a marketing strategy in place to ensure that the video podcast will be seen by the most qualified viewers in the entertainment business. We have a contact list of over 375 legitimate casting directors, which includes representatives for all the major networks and studios, as well as a comprehensive list of independent production companies that produce everything from commercials, to films, to online content.

How does a talent agency, casting director, or film maker contact us?
They should be able to contact you and/or your agent directly, to the phone number and/or email provided on your segment.

Does it matter what kind of contact info I give?
Yes, it’s crucial to give your name, a phone number and/or email so talent agencies and casting directors can contact you or your agent.

Am I guaranteed to get work?
There is no guarantee of work from our services, but the more people who see you, the more chances you have to be cast.

Is there an age limit?
No, but anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s approval. Child actors are welcome, no matter what the age.

Are there any forms I need to complete to participate in the video podcast?
There are a few forms to complete such as contact information, a terms and condition agreement, release forms, etc.

How much does it cost?
Our first filming session will be FREE to everyone. Normally a video podcast segment is $60 for the filming of a video podcast segment. This price is per individual podcast. Payments must be made in cash and received at the time of the filming session.

How do I know if my RSVP has been confirmed?
After we receive your RSVP we will contact you through email to confirm.
